Birds woken by a scary sound
Nests brought down to ground.
Debris of misery scattered around
Leaving forever a deep wound.
My abode that predators raided
From rain and pain it had shaded,
In ashes everything faded
With crumbling dreams that had made it.
All memories and dreams went down the drain
Leaving behind reality as meager as a grain,
My home is lost, agonies remain
Forcing an exile on a soul in disdain.
