Autumn in Kashmir

Life once resonated in full vigour
There was romance in autumn songs
Colours- Red, Orange and Brown
Fired an inspiration to the ramble
Pestering haze pierced by the peeping sun
Lit a sparkle, winks and whirls
Alas! nothing glittering remains of autumn
Scared and terrified, it now stares
Caught in the wrangle, heckled to coffin
A gripping tale of pain and anguish
Succumbed to fear, pains of flesh
Death and despair, underneath the golden firmament
