He came as lightening, went like thunder Vanished darkness turned it brighter.

Everyone knows him with honour and fame Enlightening indians was his aim.

O my Syed! my beloved founder

You are my pride, I love you founder

Begged sometimes for the nation

was his sacrifice, not any fashion

Obnoxious abuses hurled upon him

Lost eyesight, but vision got never dim

O’ my Syed! my beloved founder

You are my pride, I love you founder

How much He put himself in difficulties Tolerated everything! saved our identities

When muslim ship was about to sink

It was saled by his powerfull ink

O my Syed! My beloved founder

You are my pride, I love you founder

Always longed hindu muslim stay tied Calling them eyes of a beautiful bride

He was a man of full relevance

Fortified his mission even under British dominance.

O my Syed! my beloved founder

You are my pride, I love you founder

Shaped his dreams into a college

where we learn and pursue knowledge

His AMU is our legacy and proud

where he shines yet being in shroud

O my Syed, my beloved founder

You are my pride! I love you founder
