Prior to my theme, while I’m buttoning the keys of my laptop, as my consciousness is not in a state of peace. Because the social media is affecting the young minds drastically. And the overall effect of the social media is that, it is guiding the immature brains in such a way that in a single night’s stand one becomes the jurist, and starts to spread ill-wills and desires to malice the other. Currently, Facebook is proving a platform where this prejudice and stereotyping is a usual and conventional show. As being observed, we found two main sequels in Facebook scholars: one sincere ignorance and second conscientious stupidity. These types of tech-savvy users always work with this attitude and jeopardize the juveniles. Without proper and contemporary knowledge they start impeaching one another. And it has now taken a serious corollary trend in a competitive way on social media. Before going further in details, let’s have a look and outline the terminology of prejudice and stereotyping.
Prejudice and stereotyping are biases that work together to create and maintain social inequality. Prejudice refers to the attitudes and feelings—whether positive or negative and whether conscious or non-conscious—that people have about members of other groups. In contrast, stereotypes have traditionally been defined as specific beliefs about a group, such as descriptions of what members of a particular group look like, how they behave, or their abilities. As such, stereotypes are cognitive representations of how members of a group are similar to one another and different from members of other groups Prejudice and stereotyping are generally considered to be the product of adaptive processes that simplify an otherwise complex world so that people can devote more cognitive resources to other tasks. However, despite any cognitively adaptive function, they may serve, using these mental shortcuts when making decisions about other individuals can have serious negative ramifications. Because of these new conceptions of bias, there have also been methodological adaptations in the study of prejudice and stereotyping that move beyond the conscious attitudes and behaviors of individuals to measure their implicit prejudice and stereotypes as well. When we anatomize the effects of social media young minds are busy with it and accumulate the consequences 24 into 7 from it.
Different types of people, of different School of thoughts, are surfing the social websites. They share and upload the Islamic teachings. It is good to make Facebook as the source of inspiration by beautiful Islamic dictates. But some self-esteemed people and institutions, are always in search to malign the image of other schools of thought. Thereby adopt prejudice and stereotyping.Indirectly and apparently, they shun the basic principles and protocols of Islamic teachings and prefer their personalization and institutional love more that of Islam. Their creed and doctrine is in constraints and is privileged by their supereminence. And they adapt personalism and institutionalism and abscond the basics. This creates the negative approach and makes them sick-minded and gradually they possess prejudice and become scarce in foresightedness. Not only this they become so hardliner that their personalism and institutionalism even found doing awry will still arrogate in its truthiness. They prefer their party dogma and consider it ultimate, same with their leaders. Some Facebook pages, even have crossed the boundaries of aversion and repugnance. Their copy paste admins have created muddle even in intellectual minds. They only invoke the abhorrence material and copy paste it in their pages. It seems that Facebook warriors are trigging the gun and pointing the barrel to another school of thought.
Remember, we are one Ummah. Don’t spread irreverence against the scholars and particular institutions. Every scholar and institution is burning the midnights oil in order to bring this Ummah on its prescribe. Respect every school of thought and institution. This Ummah is already frustrated and derailed by our black sheep’s and foes. let’s come and shun this arrogance and ignorance and work together for the betterment of our Ummah so that we will achieve once again the ascension and exaltation. And revive the epitome in the words of Allama Iqbal (r.a.)

KABI EAY NAWJAWAN MUSLIM TADABUR BI KIYA TUNAY
WO KA GARDOUN HAI TU JISKA HAI EK TOOTA HOWA TARA
TUJAY ES QOOM NE PALA HAI AAGOSHAY MOHABAT ME
KICHAL DALA HAI JIS NE PAWOUN ME TAJE SAREY DARA
